Donna Bella Cosmetics – Permanent Hair Removal Scam??

Is Donna Bella Hair Removal For Real?

When laser hair removal creams cost so cheap, I came across the Donna Bella Cosmetics Permanent Hair Removal (Extreme Kit) which is sold for $220! I decided to learn some more about their permanent hair removal cream and gel removers. What on earth can justify a hair removal cream, gel and spray set which costs over $200?

No Donna Bella Permanent Hair Removal Info

You can read here what I found. I found so much spam comments and ‘reviews’ all posted by Donna Bella across the web. I found other customers asking in hair removal forums questions and reviews on Donna Bella, but with no comments of people who tried Donna Bella ‘extreme hair removal kit’ or any of their products.

Donna Bella Hair Removal Spam Comments

I came across the same endless list of “super-delightful” comments, which were copied from one spam site to another. The same enthusiastic reviews on the Donna Bella permanent hair removal where suspiciously showing at different websites.

Example # 1 – Click here (opens in new window) to see the user signed as “Alison G” and her copied comment signed as “Kim Sacramento“. Each of the users have signed in to place this one comment… and it is the same comment found at another website: Click Here..

The customer Megan S has written her review at TrustLink.org (read it here)

I mostly used this product on my bikini area and other sensitive areas. It’s very effective, when used as directed, although the cleanup process is pretty easy. And my favorite part is that the hair stopped growing!!!! I could not believe it till experienced myself!!!

But Goggling this comment came across dozen of spam comments under different names.. A different customer Leisha S at MojoPages.com says:

I mostly used this product on my bikini area and other sensitive areas. It’s very effective, when used as directed, although the cleanup process is pretty easy. And my favorite part is that the hair stopped growing!!!! I could not believe it till experienced myself!!!

I wonder why a cosmetic company like Donna Bella Cosmetics, has to ‘fake’ customer reviews…? Dozen of them across the web? Different names same comments..

Donna Bella Hair Removal Efficiency

I am not reviewing their product, which they claim to be able to permanently remove hair by a series of cream and gel used in a specific method. I do not claim their product is effective or not effective. But spam comments sure make me wonder why I can’t find regular user comments.

If you visit the TRIA laser web support forum, you can read customers complaining, writing real comments, remarking flaws. A company with confidence in it’s product allow real comments on their forum.

The only comment I feel was truly real, had been left on one of the spam pages. Since no one moderates these pages, it was left untouched under the Donna Bella hair removal ‘global praising’ comments.

A girl who signed Kerry left this message:

“Be very careful using this product. I used it once, and the cream completely burned my skin so bad i had to seek medical treatment!Never ever again!” Find It Here at the bottom of the page..

FDA Approval?? Are You Sure?

The Donna Bella Permanent Hair Removal System Amazon page states the product has a FDA approval.

Donna Bella Permanent Hair Removal System FDA

But FDA does not approve cosmetics.. read the quote below from their FAQ page. Find more on FDA Cosmetic Labling:

Is it permitted to label cosmetics “FDA Approved”?

No. As part of the prohibition against false or misleading information, no cosmetic may be labeled or advertised with statements suggesting that FDA has approved the product. This applies even if the establishment is registered or the product is on file with FDA’s Voluntary Cosmetic Registration Program6 (VCRP) (see 21 CFR 710.8 and 720.9, which prohibit the use of participation in the VCRP to suggest official approval). False or misleading statements on labeling make a cosmetic misbranded [FD&C Act, sec. 602; 21 U.S.C. 362].

You can see the FDA registration for Donna Bella company Here and Here. The registration warns not to use the registry to claim product approval. See the picture below:

The Sexy - Donna Bella Hair Removal Extreme Edition Kit

The Donna Bella Permanent hair Removal box looks very luxurious! The golden cream, gel, spray and body lotion all are sexy in their red hot velvet box.

Adding a high price tag certainly adds a aristocratic sense and appeal to the product. It differentiates it from other cheaper hair removal creams like the Nisim Kalo hair removal and other creams which target the chemistry of the hair.
